Why Call of Duty: Advanced Warfares New Direction Is the Best Yet

CCC Says: "Ever since I first picked up a gamepad and began stalking my pray in the 1999 release of Alien vs. Predator on PC, Ive been hooked on FPS. Over the years, Id try out many different franchises from Halo to Battlefield. While each would bring a little something different to the table, my tastes always seem to lean towards those with a sci-fi flair. While I had played other Call of Dutys in the past, Modern Warfare 3 from 2011 was the first that really introduced me to a more realistic, tactical-based multiplayer experience."

Partnership between Xbox and Activision continues.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history, and again brings all add-on content first to Xbox," explains Xbox Wire.

The partnership between Xbox and the Call of Duty franchise began back at E3 2009 when Microsoft announced that Modern Warfare 2 Map Packs would be released first on Xbox 360. Since then every Call of Duty game has seen its DLC released first on Xbox platforms, including last year's Call of Duty: Ghosts.
